Huawei to deploy Mobilink WiMAX Network ??

Huawei is claiming here that Mobilink selected its Equipment to rollout the WiMAX service in 6 cities of Pakistan.

Mobilink has recently launched its WiMAX services in Karachi with the brand name of Infinity with Alcatel. Since almost a year mobilink was doing pilot with Motorola, Huawei and Alcatel.

If its true, its surprising as all the indicators and news which we were getting from the market were in favour of Alcatel.

…. but you never know 🙂
